For more than 35 years, TNC controls from HEIDENHAIN have been proving themselves in daily use on milling, drilling and boring machines, as well as machining centers. While the controls have undergone continuous development during this period, the basic operational technique has remained the same. You will find also these principles implemented in the TNC 640, the HEIDENHAIN contouring control for milling and milling/turning operations: shop-oriented programmability with graphic support, many field-proven cycles and an operational design you'll recognize from other HEIDENHAIN controls. Shop-oriented programming You program conventional milling and drilling operations, and with the TNC 640 also turning operations, yourself at the machine, in plain language dialog—the workshop-oriented programming language from HEIDENHAIN. The TNC 640 provides you with optimum support with practical prompts, questions and expressive graphical aids—for turning operations, too.

In rotary encoders with integral bearing and stator coupling, the graduated disk of the encoder is connected directly to the shaft to be measured. The scanning unit is guided on the shaft via ball bearings, supported by the stator coupling. During angular acceleration of the shaft, the stator coupling must absorb only that torque resulting from friction in the bearing, thereby minimizing both static and dynamic measuring error. Moreover, the coupling mounted on the stator compensates axial motion of the measured shaft. Other benefits of the stator coupling are: Simple mounting Short overall length High natural frequency of coupling Hollow-through shaft possible HEIDENHAIN ERN, ECN and EQN rotary encoders with integral bearing and mounted stator coupling are characterized by simple mounting and short overall length.

Request for a quoteDR. JOHANNES HEIDENHAIN GmbH develops and manufactures linear and angle encoders, rotary encoders, digital readouts and numerical controls for demanding positioning tasks. HEIDENHAIN products are used primarily in high-precision machine tools as well as in plants for the production and processing of electronic components. With our extensive experience and know-how in the development and manufacture of measuring devices and numerical controls, we create the groundwork for the automation of tomorrow’s plants and production machines. Competence in the area of linear and angular metrology is reflected by a large number of customized solutions for users. These include the measuring and test equipment developed and built for many of the world’s standards laboratories and the angle encoders for various telescopes and satellite receiving antennas. Naturally the standard products also profit from these experiences. The high quality of HEIDENHAIN products depends on special production facilities and measuring equipment. Masters and submasters for scale manufacturing are produced in a clean-room building, conceived especially for this purpose, with special measures for temperature stabilization and vibration insulation. The the machines required for the manufacture and measurement of linear and circular graduations and copying machines are also developed and built by HEIDENHAIN.

The pressure transmitters of the 33X-Ed series use digital compensation with a mathematical model to achieve exceptional accuracy of 0,05 %FS – in the temperature range from 10 to 40 °C, this value even corresponds to the total error band. Additional measurements and selections can optionally be used to achieve a precision (and also, if calibrated in an accredited test laboratory, an accuracy) of 0,01 %FS. In addition to the digital RS485 interface, the X-line transmitters have a rangeable, analog current or voltage output. Pressure-proof housing – suitable for use in explosive atmospheres.

The HPX high-pressure calibrator is a high-precision calibration instrument for pressures between 0 bar and 700 bar. The functional calibrator is supplied in a sturdy carrying case and pressure can be quickly generated manually. It is therefore ideal for use in the field. The pressure is measured by the integrated LEX1 manometer and is both shown on the display and output via the RS485 interface. Additional functions such as zero point resetting, peak and trough pressure value indication and leak measurement make it even easier to take measurements.

The MPX pressure calibrator is a high-precision calibration instrument for pressures between -0,85 bar and 25 bar (after taring to ambient pressure).
