Monta records the best before dates of these products at product receipt. These types of products cannot be sent to customers if they a) do not have a batch number or b) if the best before date has expired. Food products can also have inbound and outbound periods; in other words when these products can no longer be received or shipped by Monta. It’s the customer’s responsibility to monitor which best before dates are about to expire. This is clearly displayed in the Monta portal reports. These reports can also be sent out automatically by email.

Monta receives returns from various distributors on a daily basis. Returns are processed by us within 48 hours of receipt. This is how we process returns from your webshop: The package is accepted; If the original packing slip is included, this is scanned; If not, the address details are used to identify the original order; The goods are unpacked, inspected and entered; Follow-up action is carried out according to a pre-arranged protocol. There are additional options for processing returns: A photo can be taken of each return (this photo will then be available on the Monta portal). An email can be sent to the end user informing them that the returns have been received. This message can be customised, if required. For example, the customer can be notified that the returns have been approved and that payment or the new product will be paid or shipped the same day.
